The Big Read

After last years success, Mono County Libraries are again participating in the nationwide Big Read. This years bilingual program features Sun, Stone, and Shadow: 20 Great mexican Short Stories.

The Big Read is a program of the National Endowment for the Arts in partnership with the Institute of Museum and Library Services and Arts Midwest.

First Tuesdays at 7:00 PM. Come discuss the great books of our civilization!

The Science Book Club meets at the Mammoth Library the 4th Monday of every month at 5:00 PM

SAM THE READING DOG

The first Wednesday of every month Sam, the reading dog, visits the Mammoth Lakes Library. He loves to be read to and petted. Children of all ages are welcome to stop by the library to read to Sam or be read to while sitting with Sam.

Mammoth Lakes Friends of the Library fundraiser.

Tote bags from recyclable materials save trees and raise funds for library programs. You have your choice of turquoise or purple handles and our logo on black fabric.

Tote Bags are available at the library and the Book Chalet, and will also be sold at our Parking Lot Sales.
