The Centennial Quilt created by various Mammoth Lakes community members in 1976 and commemorating the (almost) first one hundred years of the history of our community is now on permanent display at the Mammoth Lakes Branch Library!

The Mammoth Lakes library located at 400 Sierra Park Rd opened in December of 2007. The new building features 20 public computers, free Wi-Fi, a children’s area equipped with many developmental toys and a programming room, a teen area and two meeting rooms. Scanning services are available for $1/page, printing and copying cost 10¢/page. The Mammoth Lakes library has a diverse selection of books, audio books and DVDs and an excellent Spanish language collection as well as many foreign language DVDs.
The Mammoth Lakes Library is a joint-use facility with Cerro Coso Community College. The Library serves community college students as their research facility. To access the college library site click this link www.cerrocoso.edu/library
Programs: The Mammoth Lakes Library has a variety of special events and programs scheduled throughout the year, such as Kids Cooking Classes, Game Day, Gallery Wall art shows, Ranger programs, Star Night, and Family concerts. Story times for childern 0-5 are offered on Wednesday mornings at 10:30 am. There is also a Science Book Club.
